Living Through the Rain

Hey PPOP!

2019 has come with a vendetta for some people. Even literally, it has been raining so much in certain states, like my home state of Georgia. We are use to mild temperatures with not much rain. However, there has been more rainy days than usual. with that being said, even though it is raining, we still have to live. We can’t stop our lives because it keeps raining.

Life is unpredictable! We truly can’t stop nature, and when it is raining, we still have to keep going. Let’s take this true to life experience and connect it to the storms that come in our lives figuratively . There are going to be storms that are unpredictable. You can’t stop it. However, you have to keep living through it and know that you are going to get through it.

Living through the rain means, even when life hits us really hard whether by lost, financially, health-wise-we must continue to dance, smile, and keep living. You must live through life even when you face difficult times. You must hold on to the fact that you are here and you are here on purpose. Don’t stop living when life’s obstacles come your way. Keep dreaming and keep believing and get out and live!

It’s easy to give up, but it’s hard to live life fully and still smile when you are going through the quick stand and storms. But, again we must. Here are some tools that can help you get through tough times when you feel like you can’t.

1. Develop in Your Mind that You Will Get Over This

2. Come up with a plan

3. Get out of the house and live

4. Put on your favorite song and dance

5. Keep living

6. Set Goals & Focus on Your Dreams

7. Enjoy the small things

8. Create memories (have some family and friends over, and have a party just because)

And whatever you do, don’t forget to “Sing and Dance” in the rain. You will get through this! There is always beauty after the storms. And some storms in life come to teach us, while other storms teach us gratitude and resilience.
