She has worked as a GED teacher for the Technical College System of Georgia, she has been a teacher in the school system, and has been a counselor in the prison system. Author Erin Johnell Dickey is an energetic motivator, mentor, facilitator, and coach to women and young girls.  She transfers positive energy and insight to her audiences. She loves being in a room full of ambitious women and/or young ladies. She has facilitated many workshops and seminars for girls and women. She has spoken to many organizations.

Publishing her first book in 2010, she unleashed her dream to become an author. Now, she is motivating girls and women to fulfill their dreams and write their own stories by starting their own companies, going back to school, traveling to different places, etc. Erin conducts empowerment sessions and seminars that bring together women of all ages. These workshops allow women to engage in conversations surrounding obstacles, fears, and then exam the importance of following one's dreams. These sessions embody sisterhood and inspire women to live a purposeful life holistically.

In Erin's first book Girl Talk 101: A Simple But Yet Complete Guide to Getting Your "Stuff" Together! she addresses many issues that women face. She also encourages women to dream and never settle. Girl Talk: The Course (The Daughters' Edition) is  an excellent tool for young women.

Erin has helped many adults and underage students obtain their GED. She has enjoyed the benefits of seeing adults get a second chance at earning a diploma and being able to earn more money and further their education.

Inspiring and motivating is Erin's mission. She has dealt with individuals of all backgrounds and is able to connect on a personal level to the people she encounters.

PPOP was informally birthed in January 2015 and it became official in March 2015. Erin's goal is to inspire and motivate thousands of young girls and women through many PPOP initiatives, her books, PPOP inspirational t-shirts, speaking engagements, seminars, and motivational sessions.
